My Story
I love a nice smelling home. I was considered the “Candle Party Lady” with the “Crazy Candle Lady Consultant” in the mid 90’s because I was always having candle parties. In 2010, my personal life took a turn and I moved out of home and moved out on my own for the first time ever at the age of 40!!! My girls were in high school with one month away from going to college so I was pretty much was on the road to become an empty nester. At the time, I would come home from a long day of work and immediately light a candle so the aroma would fill my new space to provide me some type of peace and serenity. Fast forward to Thanksgiving evening 2011, a friend called me to tell me that her grandson’s apartment burnt down due to a candle burning next door. Not even a week later, I went out of town for the day only to come home to find a high flame burning from a candle that was not blown out. I lived in a duplex at the time and it really through me for a loop!! I immediately thought of my friend and recalled that a high school friend was selling something called “Scentsy” on FB instead of candles. I called her, met with her and became a consultant right away so I could continue keeping my place smelling amazing! I ended up having a warmer or two in everyone in my new home!
After I became a consultant, I had a few parties that earned me the status of a certified consultant. Several months later, I took in my 1 year granddaughter and started to only product for me with a few sales here and there. I would never consider myself a sales person but I was able to maintain my Certified Consultant status. My current job can be stressful, tasking, time consuming and often leaves me little time and drained at the end of the day, I am looking to get back into the world of sharing Scentsy with others.
Because there are so many wonderful Scentsy products, it’s easy to share Scentsy with everyone.
